Terms and conditions
- This competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 and over, with the exception of employees of Lactalis Nestle Chilled Dairy, their immediate families, agents, or anyone else associated with administration of this promotion.
- Closing date for receipt of all entries is 30th November 2008
- There are six prizes each consisting of a family day trip to Lapland to meet Santa Claus, to be taken during December 2009, and an overnight trip to London to see the recording of the story at a London studio with Gail Porter. The prize includes economy flights for two adults and two children, aged 12 and under. The Lapland day trip includes: joining Santa and the elves at Mrs. Claus' surprise Christmas party, reindeer, husky and snowmobile rides, snow games, sledging and a Christmas disco, all by the magical setting of a frozen lake. Flights from Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, Doncaster, East Midlands, Gatwick, Glasgow, Leeds, Luton, Manchester, Stanstead, to Kittila airport, Finish Lapland. Flights will include breakfast/dinner, lunch will be provided at the resort. UK transfers to and from local airports not included and a full passport will be necessary to travel. £200 spending money will be included in the prize. Overnight stay in London includes 3* central London hotel accommodating in a double/twin room with en-suite facilities, on a bed & breakfast basis, return transport to and from London by train and an evening meal. Lunch will be provided at the recording studio. Transport to and from hotel to recording studio will be provided. Spending money not included in this section of the prize.
- To enter, please upload your original children's story of between 600 – 800 words, starting with the line: "Once upon a Munchtime, there was a cow called Munch..." on www.munchbunch.co.uk and don't forget to fill-in your name, email address and date of birth too.
- Winners will be selected on merit by a panel of judges appointed by Lactalis Nestle Chilled Dairy, including at least one independent person. Winning criteria will be based on imaginative use of the Munch the Cow character within the story, originality, creativity and relevance for children.
- Winners will be informed in writing by 12th December 2008.
- Munch Bunch will own the publishing rights to all competition entries/creative stories, and will have the right to publish the winning six stories online on www.munchbunch.co.uk.
- We cannot accept third party or consumer group entries.
- Entries limited to one per household.
- There is no cash alternative to the prize offered and the prizes are non–transferable.
- If for any reason a winner is unable to take the prize as offered, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to the next best entry.
- The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The promoter reserves the right to substitute the stated prizes with equivalents of equal or greater value in the case that the prizes become unavailable.
- Winners agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.
