
Ingredients
1 pink lady apple
Juice of half a lemon
150g (5½oz) half fat Cheddar cheese, cubed
4 sticks celery, sliced
200g (7oz) red grapes, washed
1 small baby gem or cos lettuce, roughly cut
Method
- Core the apples and cut into small chunks. Place in a bowl and sprinkle over about a tablespoon of lemon juice and toss to coat the apple evenly (this will stop the apple browning).
- Toss the apple in with all the other ingredients in a large bowl then divide up into individual plastic boxes for school packed lunches or pack up in a large picnic box for the whole family.
