Milk and dairy are good sources of calcium for healthy bones, and protein for muscles and the nervous system. The milk and dairy food group contains foods like yogurts, cheese, milk, cottage cheese and fromage frais. This is an important food group for the protection and development of bones.
This food group should form just over one-sixth of a daily balanced diet - roughly 3 portions a day. If your child is allergic to milk, offer calcium-enriched soya or rice milks so that your child doesn’t miss out.
Just like a glass of milk*, Munch Bunch is a good source of calcium, which is great for growing bones!.
